Munich, January 14, 2020 – Mountain Alliance AG (MA, ISIN DE000A12UK08) announces changes in the Management Board and a change in the chairmanship of the Supervisory Board.
In agreement with the Supervisory Board, Chief Financial Officer Justine Wonneberger did not extend her contract and left the Management Board with effect of 31 December 2019. However, she will continue to serve the company in an active advisory capacity. Mrs. Wonneberger took over the position as CFO on 1 January 2012. Prior to that, she was already involved in the cross-border merger of Mountain Alliance from Great Britain to Germany in 2010, where she was responsible for the successful implementation of the complex tax and financial issues involved. In the course of this change, Management Board member Manfred Danner has taken over responsibility for the finance function in addition to the already existing responsibility for the operating business.
"With her entrepreneurial vision, Justine Wonneberger has created excellent foundations for the further growth of Mountain Alliance AG. On behalf of the Management Board I would like to thank Mrs. Wonneberger for her outstanding performance and I am pleased that she will remain with our company in an advisory capacity," says Daniel Wild, CEO of Mountain Alliance AG.
In the Supervisory Board, there was an exchange of office holders for the Chairman and Deputy Chairman as of 1 January 2020. Mr. Hans-Joachim Riesenbeck has assumed the role as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Mountain Alliance AG, Mr. Tim Schwenke will act as his deputy. A change in the members of the Supervisory Board does not go hand in hand with this.
